About Kassanda Children's Aid
Kassanda Children's Aid (KCA) is a nonprofit organization established in 2012, operating in Kassanda District, Central Uganda. Founded by Miss Bonnie, a Canadian volunteer, KCA aims to provide care and support to Vulnerable Children, caregivers, women, and youth in the region. Registered at the District level, KCA is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by Orphans and Vulnerable Children, the elderly, People with Disabilities, and those affected by HIV/AIDS.
The organization's core objectives include providing medical care, education, and housing to children in need, setting up children's homes, and advocating for children's and women's rights. KCA values volunteering, innovation, community participation, and integrity. With a vision to create a healthy and productive society, KCA's mission is to empower children to reach their full potential and become responsible citizens.
