Kate Raworth

Kate Raworth is an influential renegade economist and a Senior Visiting Research Associate at Oxford University's Environmental Change Institute. She is renowned for her groundbreaking work in economic theory, particularly her concept of the Doughnut model, which outlines social and planetary boundaries for sustainable living. Co-founder of the Doughnut Economics Action Lab, Kate has authored the internationally acclaimed book Doughnut Economics: Seven Ways to Think Like a 21st Century Economist, which has reached diverse global audiences, including the UN and environmental advocacy groups.

With over 25 years of experience, her career journey ranges from empowering micro-entrepreneurs in Zanzibar to influencing global policies as a co-author of the UNDP's Human Development Report.
