Der Katholikentag ist eine Großveranstaltung des Zentralkomitees der deutschen Katholiken (ZdK). Von 13. bis 17. Mai 2026 ist das Bistum Würzburg Gastgeber. Dann finden hunderte Veranstaltungen in Würzburg statt, von große politischen Podien, über Kultur und Konzerte, Workshops und spirituellen Momenten. Zur Vorbereitung wird eine Geschäftsstelle mit ca. 40 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern eingerichtet.
