Katrin Palvelukoti Oy is a professional family-home provider offering child welfare and out-of-home care services in Uusikaupunki, Finland. Operating since 1997, the company provides children and young people with a dependable, home-like environment where the adults who run each home live alongside the placed children. Its approach is guided by child-centred care, solution-focused practice, and clearly defined values and principles intended to support each child’s best interests.
The company operates two family homes: Pietolan perhekoti and Vanhakartanon perhekoti. Each has seven places for children and young people, and children of all ages are welcome. Pietolan’s two parents are trained and bring a range of expertise to their work. The Vanhakartano home offers a homelike setting in a peaceful location. A supported apartment is available in connection with Pietolan, and Katrin Palvelukoti can also provide aftercare when needed. Families and placement professionals can contact the company by phone or message to learn more about its services and the two homes.
