Katschi

Katschbergbahnen GmbH operates the Katschberg mountain resort, a year-round destination on the border of Carinthia and Salzburg, directly beside Austria’s A10 Tauern motorway. In winter, the resort offers 80 kilometres of ski runs between 1,100 and 2,220 metres, served by 17 lifts. Its slopes include beginner, intermediate and advanced options, with dedicated children’s learning areas at both the Katschberghöhe and Aineck.

The 2026/27 ski season is scheduled to run from 4 December 2026 to 28 March 2027, with daily operations, snow updates and lift information available to visitors. In summer, Katschbergbahnen provides mountain access on the Almbahn, alongside family attractions such as the Almspielplatz, a marble-run playground, a summer toboggan run and GPS treasure hunts. The company also offers day, multi-day and season tickets, an online shop, ski storage and information about ski schools, sports shops, mountain huts and dining.
