Katsurao Collective is a vibrant initiative rooted in Katsurao Village, Fukushima Prefecture, which emerged from the community's recovery following the 2011 Fukushima disaster. This collaborative organization is dedicated to rejuvenating the village through art, dialogue, and community participation. Offering a diverse range of services, Katsurao AIR serves as an Artist in Residence program that fosters creative engagement and local interactions, aiming to address issues like resource discovery, community networking, and sustainable migration.
