Kattenvoorlichting.nl & Kattenwinkel

Kattenvoorlichting.nl is a Dutch social enterprise founded by Marieke van de Weijer, who has been helping cat lovers understand and care for their cats since 2003. As a qualified cat specialist with practical experience, she offers free, personalised advice to help owners address questions and behavioural or health concerns. The website also provides articles and guidance on topics including nutrition, drinking, litter boxes, grooming, travel and rehoming. Through its related platform, Kattenherplaatsing.nl, the organisation shares information about finding new homes for cats and successful adoptions.

Kattenvoorlichting.nl runs an online shop offering products for cats and their owners. Purchases, donations and shopping through the site’s partners help support its mission and make ongoing free advice and information possible. The business also lists pet insurance through PetSecur and provides information about partners, cat adoption, care and support services. Based in the Netherlands, it ships orders domestically and to Belgium and Germany. Its work centres on promoting happier cats and more confident, satisfied owners through practical guidance, accessible information and carefully selected products.
