Katzenhilfe Rheine

Katzenhilfe Rheine und Umgebung e.V. is a volunteer-run animal welfare association supporting cats in Rheine, Germany, and nearby communities. With more than 40 years of animal welfare work, the organization helps cats in need through careful rehoming, foster care, practical support, and public education. Its adoption service introduces cats in foster homes and farm settings, and also offers placement assistance for private emergencies. The association works to find cats safe, loving, and lasting homes, while promoting responsible cat care and protection. It reports more than 500 successful placements and over 2,000 cats neutered.

Community members can contribute by adopting, becoming a member or foster carer, volunteering, or making financial and in-kind donations. Contributions help cover food, veterinary care, shelter, and day-to-day animal care. Supporters can donate by bank transfer or PayPal, fulfil requests on the association’s product wish list, give supplies such as food, toys, and grooming items, or shop through participating charity-shopping services. Katzenhilfe Rheine also shares updates and information about its work through its website and Instagram.
