KAUTE Foundation is a Finnish grant-making foundation supporting research in business and technology, as well as the communication of research findings. Its aim is to help excellent researchers produce meaningful results and bring knowledge beyond the academic community to businesses and decision-makers. Through this work, KAUTE seeks to support economic, social and ecological renewal in Finnish society and industry.

Its activities include recognition for journalism: the annual Economics Journalism Award honours Finnish financial journalism that makes use of academic research and contributes to high-quality public discussion. KAUTE also shares research and ideas through its KAUTE Talks events and publishes news and stories about researchers, projects and award recipients. From 2016 to 2025, the foundation awarded €8 million in grants and presented 440 grants and awards, supporting research and knowledge with potential to inform society and business.
