India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Kawasaki Motors Limited, Japan, is a prominent brand in the Indian Super Bike Market. With a journey that began in 2009, India Kawasaki Motors introduced the iconic Ninja 650 and Ninja 250.

In 2010, the company was incorporated to further expand its presence in India. The assembly of Z250, Ninja 300, Ninja 650, ER-6N, and Versys 650 motorcycles started in 2013, while the marketing and after-sales services were managed by Kawasaki's Indian partner. To strengthen the brand experience and promote Kawasaki globally, the company ended its alliance with the Indian partner in April 2017.

In 2017, India Kawasaki Motors established a new plant in Pune, Maharashtra, speeding up the development of an independent sales and after-service network.
