Kayak Kids is a Veteran-owned outdoor recreation company that introduces children to kayaking through engaging, nature-focused programs in the San Diego area. Dedicated to sharing a love of paddling and environmental stewardship, the company offers lessons and adventures for young participants ages 7 to 12.

Its after-school program provides round-trip transportation from a child’s school to Lake Murray, where students take part in kayaking lessons based on the American Canoe Association’s Intro to Kayaking course, modified for their age group. Classes are limited to 12 students, allowing for a small-group experience.

During school breaks and summer, Kayak Kids also runs camps featuring kayaking at different San Diego locations. Camp destinations include lakes, Mission Bay, and the La Jolla Sea Caves, with transportation from a designated pickup location provided. The programs are designed to offer children a safe, exciting way to spend time outdoors, build paddling skills, and enjoy new experiences on the water.
