Kayla Pontier Photography

Kayla Pontier Photography is a Des Moines, Iowa photography brand focused on preserving the genuine connections and lively moments of family life. Photographer Kayla creates relaxed sessions that welcome the energy, unpredictability, and everyday messiness of children, favoring authentic expressions over stiff poses and forced smiles. Her approach celebrates warm light, nature, and the small details families may one day want to remember, from wildflower-filled hands to a baby nestled against a parent.

The brand offers family and newborn photography, with portfolio examples that also include distinctive experiences such as hot air balloon sessions. Kayla guides clients through planning with thoughtful communication, styling suggestions, and access to a client closet. During sessions, she provides gentle direction while making room for families to interact naturally and enjoy the experience together. Her goal is to create meaningful photographs that reflect each family as they truly are, rather than an idealized version of life. Kayla Pontier Photography serves families seeking heartfelt images and memories to revisit for years to come.
