Kazzinc is a major integrated mining and metallurgical company in Kazakhstan, producing zinc alongside copper, precious metals, and lead. Its operations span six communities and include four modernized processing plants and two metallurgical complexes. The company offers 23 types of finished products, including refined gold and silver. Kazzinc developed its own technology for refining gold, and its gold and silver are listed on the London Bullion Market Association’s Good Delivery register under the Deer brand. The company reports producing 80% of Kazakhstan’s banking gold.

Kazzinc employs approximately 29,000 people, including contractors, and invests in workforce development through annual training. It also highlights environmental management as a priority, reporting more than 96 billion tenge in environmental spending since its establishment, extensive waste reuse and recycling, and a water-reuse rate above 98%. Beyond its industrial activities, Kazzinc supports healthcare, education, sports, culture, and community projects, with annual social investment exceeding 11 billion tenge. Its procurement includes more than 70% local content.
