Kinderboerderij de Waterster is a community farm in Wateringen, run by Stichting de Waterster. It offers children and adults a welcoming place to meet animals, enjoy time outdoors, and learn through close-up encounters. Visitors can see and interact with a varied collection of animals, including guinea pigs, goats, chickens, bees, turkeys, cats, rabbits, peacocks, ponies, sheep, pigeons, pigs, and parakeets. The farm is a meeting place for people from Wateringen and nearby communities, and invites guests to spend a cheerful day playing, exploring, and getting to know its animal residents.

Alongside public visits, De Waterster provides holiday care for animals and offers internship placements. Its activities include a sheep-shearing festival, while its website shares farm news and updates. Visitors can support the foundation through donations, sponsorship in money or goods, and by purchasing eggs and honey products. The farm also welcomes support through animal-feed contributions and a collection point for used frying oil.
