Raven Radio is a non-commercial, community radio station based in Sitka, Alaska. Since its establishment in 1982, Raven Radio has been dedicated to providing a diverse and vibrant program schedule to the Southeast Alaskan communities. With a listening population of 11,748, our station serves several coastal communities, including Sitka, Angoon, Elfin Cove, Kake, Pelican, Port Alexander, Tenakee Springs, and Yakutat.

At Raven Radio, we understand the importance of delivering essential information services to our listeners. Alongside local, regional, state, national, and international news coverage, we provide Emergency Alert System and AMBER announcements, as well as severe weather warnings. Our programming also offers entertainment, ensuring a well-rounded experience for our audience.

Community involvement is at the heart of our mission, with over 100 active volunteers and more than 1200 members. We take pride in training producers, and many of our former staff and volunteers have gone on to become award-winning national producers. As part of CoastAlaska Inc., our goal is to improve service and decrease costs through inter-station cooperation.

We measure our success through continued audience, donor, and volunteer participation.
