About Kagyu Changchub Chuling
Kagyu Changchub Chuling (KCC) is a renowned Buddhist meditation center in the Vajrayana tradition, established in 1976 by the esteemed meditation master Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche. As a center deeply rooted in the Karma Kagyu lineage and the Shangpa Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, KCC is dedicated to the practice of meditation and its integration into daily life. Based in Portland, Oregon, KCC offers a wide range of regular meditation and study programs aimed at supporting practitioners at all stages of their spiritual journey.
These programs include Shamatha Meditation, Chenrezi Practice, Green Tara Practice, Equanimity and Inclusion Group, and Essence of Buddhism Study Group, among others. KCC is also known for its retreats and events, which provide opportunities for deeper practice and spiritual growth. In addition to its urban center in Portland, KCC has a retreat center near Goldendale, Washington, where longer retreats of varying durations are held.
