About Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company
The Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company was founded by Judith Arnon in 1970 in Kibbutz Ga'aton in the Western Galilee. Under the artistic direction of Rami Be'er, the company's resident choreographer and central creator for the past 25 years, the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company is considered one of the most unique and prominent contemporary dance companies in the world. The company regularly performs at international festivals and prestigious stages in Israel and around the world.
The dancers of the company live and create in the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga'aton, each with their own high abilities and fascinating artistic expression. Together, under Be'er's leadership, they form a company with a relevant, exciting, and inspiring artistic vision. In addition to their performances, the company engages in various teaching and creative activities, including the Dance Journey program for dance students from around the world, study and training programs, summer courses, and more.
