The National Centre for Emergency Medical Services Monitoring (KCMRM) is a Polish public institution responsible for the ICT system supporting the State Emergency Medical Services, known as SWD PRM. The system enables access to the emergency number 999 and assists medical dispatchers, ambulance crews, doctors and nurses in their work. KCMRM’s mission is to help emergency services respond quickly, securely and effectively, so calls are handled promptly and ambulances can reach people in need as soon as possible.
The Centre monitors medical incidents nationwide and oversees the operation of SWD PRM around the clock. It develops, maintains and modifies the system’s applications, provides technical support to users, and works on system development, analytics and cybersecurity. KCMRM also trains medical dispatchers and regional emergency medical coordinators. Its training offer includes professional, psychological and tactical courses, supported by a training platform and booking system. The Centre publishes statistics on emergency calls and ambulance deployments, shares operational updates, and provides a support line for users and professionals.
