Keene Kanine Dog Training is a dog-training service led by Maureen Keene, a certified, full-time trainer who has worked professionally since 2011. Based in Long Beach, New York, the business serves the local area and Nassau County, offering specialized training in clients’ homes. Its approach uses positive reinforcement and reward-based techniques, with the goal of helping both dogs and owners succeed through enjoyable, practical training.

Programs address a wide range of needs, including puppy training, obedience, leash and heel skills, housebreaking, socialization, and dog-training classes. Keene Kanine also works with behavioral concerns such as aggression, anxiety, excessive barking, separation anxiety, and other challenges through canine behavior modification. Additional offerings include boot camp training, therapy and service dog training, and dog walking.

Maureen works with dogs of different ages and temperaments, including fearful or timid dogs, and develops training to meet each client’s goals. The business offers a free consultation to discuss a dog’s needs and potential training plan.
