Keep Bali Beautiful is a brand dedicated to tackling the plastic pollution crisis on the idyllic island of Bali. With the goal of preserving the land, sea, and wildlife, Keep Bali Beautiful supports village recycling operations and promotes environmental education. As a project of Ahimsa in Action, a US non-profit organization, Keep Bali Beautiful works towards community development projects in Indonesia.
One of their key programs is the Tangkas Village Recycling Program, which provides funding and technical support to create village-based recycling and environmental education for over 1,000 people. In collaboration with Gringgo. co, Keep Bali Beautiful has also developed tech tools to build a waste network that aims to reduce ocean plastic pollution by 25% by 2020 and increase recycling rates by 50% by 2022 in Southeast Asia.
To further their cause, Keep Bali Beautiful actively promotes environmental education through their website and Facebook page. By supporting recycling initiatives and spreading awareness, Keep Bali Beautiful is working to keep the island of Bali beautiful and protect its precious ecosystems
