KeetCross

KeetCross Westerkwartier is a grass-track moped racing event in the northern Netherlands, promoted as a fun, welcoming occasion for young people and adults. Its focus is on accessible competition, home-built machines and an atmosphere that is “not to be taken too seriously. ” The event offers several race classes for different participants.

The Keet Class and Junior Class allow machines up to 70cc, with the former intended for builders aged 16 and over and the latter for riders aged 12 and over. The Women’s Class also has a 70cc limit and is open to female riders of all ages. For budget-minded racers, the Crisis Class features 50cc mopeds or scooters, with a total investment limit of €100; participants can bring an old or improvised machine, provided it meets the minimum requirements and can start.
