Guldenaar Family History is a family genealogy website documenting the lives, stories, and heritage of the Guldenaar family and its relatives. Its history centers on Gerrit Guldenaar, born in Amsterdam in 1725, who travelled to the Dutch East Indies in 1747 and became the ancestor of hundreds of descendants. The site traces the family’s connections across generations and between the Netherlands and Indonesia, including experiences shaped by the VOC, wartime occupation, migration, and life in the Dutch East Indies.

Visitors can explore family names, individuals, family branches, dates, places, and historical records, alongside photographs, documents, gravestones, audio, video, and personal stories. Featured accounts introduce family members and relatives, while themed articles cover subjects such as the Aalmoezeniersweeshuis, the State Railways, Birma and Pakan Baroe, and art and culture. The site also provides genealogy links and invites visitors to contribute photographs or stories and to contact its maintainer with questions or corrections. It asks users to respect copyright and seek permission before reusing photographs or family information.
