Kelly Wood is a support and community brand created by an Australian mother who understands the challenges of raising children with complex needs. Drawing on her personal experience with Autism, ADHD, Demand Avoidance, Intellectual Disability and related family pressures, Kelly offers a compassionate, judgment-free space for parents seeking understanding and practical guidance. Her central offering, The Safe Space, is a supportive community for Australian mums, with monthly calls, a growing resource hub and a private online group where members can share experiences, ask questions, celebrate wins and connect with others who understand.
Kelly also provides focused one-to-one support in 90-minute sessions, available via Zoom or in person. These sessions help families unpack a difficult challenge, brainstorm possible solutions and develop a clear, realistic way forward. Through her website, Kelly shares personal reflections and learnings, alongside resources such as a freebie and blog content.
The brand’s approach is grounded in lived experience, empathy and genuine connection, offering families a place to feel seen, acknowledged and supported
