Kelowna Minor Basketball

Kelowna Minor Basketball Association (KMBA) is a community basketball organization serving young players in Kelowna. It offers seasonal programs designed for children and teens, with co-ed divisions spanning kindergarten through high school. Depending on age group, participants take part in weekly sessions or a combination of practices and games. Older divisions may include a single-elimination playoff week, subject to the program schedule. Registration fees vary by division, and programs generally include a reversible jersey; some age groups also receive a basketball.

KMBA provides league schedules, rules, policies and gym-location information to help families and participants plan their season. The association also recruits coaches, student referees and scorekeepers, offering paid opportunities and preseason training for new officials. For the Fall 2026 season, KMBA stated that registration was closed and that information about its 2027 Spring programs would become available in January. The organization shares schedule updates and encourages families to check for changes before practices and games.
