KEMAKOM is a brand that encompasses the Keluarga Mahasiswa Komputer (Computer Student Family) at FPMIPA UPI. Established on January 26, 2006, at UPI Bumi Siliwangi Campus, KEMAKOM is a dynamic organization that caters to computer science students. The first meeting, known as Musyawarah Mahasiswa (Student Deliberation), was led by Ahmad Perdana, accompanied by Muhammad Arif Fadhly Ridha and Ravenilia.

This four-day event, held from January 23 to January 26, 2006, marked the beginning of KEMAKOM. The opening of the Musyawarah Mahasiswa was symbolically conducted by Dr. Didi Supriyadi, M.

Ed. and attended by Dr. Wawan Setiawan, M.

Kom., and Drs. Heri Sutarno, M. T.

During the preparation period for the first meeting, the students received guidance from the Executive Board of FPMIPA UPI and the Student Representative Council, comprising nine individuals. Following the establishment of the legislative body, the first student president, Andhika Galih Jauhara, and temporary vice president, Nurul Nandang Fajariyah, were elected through a General Election. KEMAKOM focuses on various activities such as leadership development, community service, and fostering a sense of belonging.
