Kempo Alliance Martial Arts provides personalized martial arts training for children, teens, and adults in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Formerly known as United Studios of Self Defense, PB, the dojo has served Pacific Beach, La Jolla, and the wider San Diego community since 1992. It is led by Sensei Miller, who was born and raised in San Diego.
The school specializes in Shaolin Chuan Fa, also known as Shaolin Kempo, a style described as combining linear Karate, circular Kung-Fu, and Jiu-Jitsu techniques such as grappling, takedowns, and locks. Programs include kids’ and teens’ classes, adult classes, private lessons, group training, in-home lessons, and weapons training. Students can explore martial arts for self-defense, fitness, discipline, confidence, and personal development. The dojo also offers personal training, nutritional advice, and weight-loss support. Whether students are seeking practical skills, improved cardio fitness, or greater confidence, Kempo Alliance welcomes beginners and experienced participants to start their training journey.
