Ken Berry League

Southwest Youth Athletic Association (SYAA) is a community youth sports organization serving players and families in the Topeka, Kansas area. The association organizes baseball and softball programs across multiple age groups, from instructional leagues and mini baseball through older youth divisions, as well as Metro high school baseball and softball. Its website supports participants with team and division information, standings, schedules, news, and details about registration.

SYAA also hosts preseason, postseason, and Dawn to Dusk tournaments, with tournament brackets and updates available online. The organization coordinates coaching registration and annual background checks, and provides rule-book access, sponsor information, and a complex map. Families can check weather and field-status updates through its rainout hotline, email notices, website, Facebook page, or the Rainoutline app. League representatives, board members, and volunteers oversee areas such as baseball, softball, scheduling, communications, officiating, and fall ball. Through its programs and services, SYAA helps local young athletes take part in organized baseball and softball while giving families and coaches practical information for the season.
