Kengitys Koulutus

Kengitys & Koulutus is the horse-care and training business of Elina Hautala, a trained horse trainer and CE-F farrier serving Central Ostrobothnia within approximately 100 kilometres of Kokkola. With nearly 20 years of experience working with different horses, Hautala offers calm, practical services tailored to each horse’s needs.

Farriery services include routine shoeing, specialist and therapeutic shoeing, hoof trimming, and refitting a detached shoe. Shoeing and trimming take the horse’s individual structure into account. The aim is to support and protect the hoof, maintain its shape and balance, and promote regular movement. Trimming also addresses excess hoof growth and helps maintain a suitable hoof angle.

The business also provides training for everyday handling and behaviour. This work is intended to make daily routines easier, calmer, and safer while improving cooperation between horse and handler. Training can address challenges such as leading, catching a horse in the paddock, or preparing it for procedures like vaccination and deworming. Customers can contact Elina to arrange a suitable farriery or training appointment.
