George Washington's Ferry Farm and Historic Kenmore, owned and operated by The George Washington Foundation, are two historically significant sites located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The George Washington Foundation is dedicated to preserving and sharing the lives, values, and legacies of George Washington, Fielding and Betty Washington Lewis, and their families. At Historic Kenmore, visitors can explore the house completed in 1775 by George Washington's sister, Betty, and her husband, Fielding Lewis.

After a decade-long restoration, Kenmore now showcases its historically accurate appearance, revealing the Chamber, Dining Room, and Drawing Room with their original colors, along with restored ceilings, cornices, and over-mantels. George Washington's Ferry Farm offers an immersive experience where guests can discover the archaeological findings of George Washington's childhood home. Excavations have uncovered the remains of the Washington family's house and farm's outbuildings, leading to the construction of an interpretive replica of the Washington house based on extensive research.

Both sites provide educational programs, events, and tours to enhance public understanding and appreciation of American history.
