KennemerKids

KennemerKids is a pediatric care practice in the Alkmaar region, providing support and treatment for children aged 0 to 17. Its services include pediatric physiotherapy and speech therapy, with information and care addressing motor development, sports injuries, toe walking, low muscle tone, flat feet, and heel complaints such as Sever’s disease. The practice also offers courses and group sessions, including FitKids.

KennemerKids treats children at its main practice on Kennemerstraatweg in Alkmaar and at a school-based location on Slochterwaard. At the school location, care is coordinated with special primary schools De Piramide and De Vlindertuin. The practice works with parents and teachers to identify concerns, guide assessments, and set treatment priorities that support a child’s progress at school. Where appropriate, therapists can also share their findings in multidisciplinary meetings. Although pediatric physiotherapy is no longer provided during school hours at young children’s centre De Stip, appointments there may be arranged after school. KennemerKids focuses on practical, child-centred care in collaboration with families and educational teams.
