Kenneth Zak

Kenneth Zak is an American author whose work brings together poetry, romance, adventure, travel, and reflections on personal purpose. Born in Parma, Ohio, he left a successful law practice to spend three years traveling the world in search of deeper meaning. That journey inspired his debut novel, The Poet’s Secret, which he began writing in Crete and continued developing across destinations including Bali, Costa Rica, Thailand, Cambodia, and South America.

The novel follows literature student Elia Aloundra as she seeks out Cameron Beck, a reclusive poet whose celebrated work was inspired by an unknown muse. Set partly on an island linked to a Spanish shipwreck and Aztec relics, the story explores love, secrecy, and transformation. The book is available through bookstores and retailers including Amazon, IndieBound, and Barnes & Noble.

Zak also writes poetry, short fiction, and articles. His poem “Two Bits” and stories “A Promise” and “Thea” have appeared in literary publications and anthologies.
