Ken Taber Studio is the home gallery and sculpture garden of Australian artist Ken Taber, located at Jeramadra on the New South Wales south coast, just south of Mogo and Batemans Bay. Born in Richmond, NSW, in 1942, Taber is a self-taught artist who has painted since 1968. His paintings are mainly in acrylic and reflect influences including J.M.W. Turner, Claude Monet and early Australian Impressionist painters. His work has appeared in solo and joint exhibitions and is held in collections around the world.
Taber is now concentrating on sculpture, and many of his pieces are displayed around the property’s established five-acre water garden, alongside works by other sculptors. The gallery presents recent paintings and sculptures, as well as archive galleries featuring older work. Some pieces shown online may have sold, though new paintings in similar styles are available at the gallery. Ken Taber Studio also accepts commissions. The gallery is part of Taber’s home and studio and is open by appointment only; visitors can contact him directly for further information.
