Kent Immunisation Service provides information and consent forms for vaccinations offered to children and young people through its school immunisation programme. The service helps families understand available vaccines and submit consent for their child to receive them.

Its vaccination programme includes the seasonal flu vaccine, usually offered to young children as a nasal spray. An injectable, porcine-free alternative is available for children who cannot have the nasal vaccine for medical or cultural reasons. The service also offers the combined Td/IPV vaccine, which protects against diphtheria, tetanus and polio, alongside the MenACWY vaccine for meningitis groups A, C, W and Y.

The HPV vaccine is offered to boys and girls from Year 8 and helps protect against cervical cancer, certain mouth and throat cancers, and cancers of the anus and genital areas. The programme also includes the MMR vaccine, a combined injection against measles, mumps and rubella, requiring two doses for a full course. A porcine-free MMR option is available where needed.
