About Kijabe Environment
Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO) is a leading biodiversity conservation organization established in 1996, dedicated to sustainable conservation of the Kikuyu Escarpment natural resources for the livelihood improvement of the community. Working in collaboration with government departments, research institutions, and other stakeholders, KENVO focuses on capacity building, forest restoration, youth empowerment, ecotourism promotion, and research initiatives. Through environmental education, awareness campaigns, and community-friendly income-generating activities, KENVO aims to raise awareness about the value of local forests and biodiversity.
