The Kenya Pension Funds Investment Consortium (KEPFIC) is a consortium of prominent Kenyan retirement benefit funds that have come together to make long-term infrastructure and alternative asset investments in the region. With a shared vision for better returns and economic development, KEPFIC aims to mobilize USD 250 million from Kenyan pension funds and offshore co-investors for investment in impactful infrastructure assets over the next five years.

By joining KEPFIC, pension funds have the opportunity to pool their resources and expertise, along with partner co-investors, to participate in infrastructure investments. This offers several benefits, including economies of scale in investment selection and deal structuring, capacity building through live deal analysis and expert-led investment workshops, co-investing with global pension funds in large-scale infrastructure opportunities, and technical support from implementation partners such as USAID and the World Bank.
