About The Malki Foundation
The Malki Foundation is a non-profit organization in Israel that empowers parents to care for their children with disabilities at home. Established in 2001, the foundation is dedicated to the memory of Malki Roth zl. Unlike other countries, Israel still predominantly supports large institutions for children with disabilities, but The Malki Foundation believes that parents are best suited to make decisions for their children.
They have created an infrastructure that supports home care as an option, recognizing the damaging effects that institutional care can have. The Malki Foundation has provided physical and financial support to over 3,700 families, offering more than 40,000 hours of paramedical therapies and 6,000 equipment loans. They support children of all backgrounds, and their services are non-political and non-sectarian.
Through their efforts, families can choose to stay together and provide quality care for their children with disabilities
