Kerkje van Middelie

The Kerkje van Middelie is a historic church venue in Middelie, North Holland, available for weddings, funerals, receptions, exhibitions, and other cultural gatherings. Recognized as an official wedding location of the Municipality of Edam-Volendam, the church can host civil or religious marriage ceremonies, as well as registered partnership ceremonies. Its warm, understated interior and attractive exterior reflect its status as a national monument.

The space accommodates up to 120 people, with church pews and chairs, and offers an intimate setting where music, singing, speech, and organ sound well. For memorial services, the venue provides a serene atmosphere and has a sound system and piano; an experienced organist can be arranged if desired. The church is also suited to art exhibitions, benefiting from generous natural light through its tall south-facing windows.
