About Kerry Hospice
The Kerry Hospice Foundation (KHF) is a voluntary organization dedicated to providing funding and support for palliative care services in Kerry. Since its inception in 1990, KHF has remained committed to its core idea of delivering essential services to the local community. What sets KHF apart is its unwavering focus on voluntary work and its passionate team, none of whom receive any payment for their time or efforts.
Every cent raised within the county remains in Kerry, ensuring that the funds directly benefit those in need. KHF's mission is to partner with the HSE to fund Specialist Palliative Care Services for patients with advancing illnesses in Kerry. The foundation has already achieved significant milestones, including the completion of the Palliative Day Care Unit/Suaimhneas center and the ongoing construction of a purpose-built 15-bed inpatient unit.
