About KerryMHWfest
Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest is a dedicated initiative aimed at promoting mental health awareness and wellbeing in County Kerry. Established in October 2018, the festival, led by HSE Cork Kerry Community Healthcare and Kerry County Council, organizes an engaging series of events each year to commemorate World Mental Health Day.
With a focus on the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’—Connect, Give, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Be Active—the Fest offers an array of over 60 free events, ensuring there's something for everyone. Participants can enjoy activities that range from runs and walks to arts and crafts, mindfulness workshops, and informative seminars on various aspects of mental health.
The festival serves as a vital resource, spotlighting mental health services and encouraging the community to engage, learn, and support one another in their mental health journeys.
