About Kesälukioseura
Kesälukioseura is an independent and non-profit educational organization that offers enriching learning experiences and unforgettable camp experiences for children and young people during the summer season. They provide a wide range of courses and services to cater to different age groups and backgrounds. For refugees and young people with a refugee background, the organization offers language and cultural courses in their own mother tongue.
They also organize summer high schools for immigrants, providing information about educational opportunities and support in planning their educational path for 15 to 19-year-olds. Moreover, they offer language and cultural courses in a camp format for children aged 7 to 14 with a refugee background. Kesälukioseura is committed to promoting the recognition of skills of Afghan associations and encourages girls' participation.
They receive operational funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Finnish National Agency for Education
