Kesteven Rideability is an independent charity and member group of the Riding for the Disabled Association, established in 1988 and based in Hough on the Hill, Lincolnshire. It offers riding and equine therapy activities for disabled children and adults in a safe, supportive rural setting. Through positive interaction with horses and ponies, participants can enjoy an inclusive outdoor experience focused on therapy, wellbeing, fun and personal achievement. The charity also offers riding opportunities for people seeking a new challenge and provides information about session prices.
Alongside its riding activities, Kesteven Rideability welcomes volunteers to help sessions run smoothly and invites the community to support its work through donations, the SKDC Community Lottery or its Pony Angel scheme. For people interested in learning about horses, it provides RDA Horsecare Proficiency Tests from Grade 1 to 4, as well as quizzes and fact sheets. In 2025/2026, the charity delivered 910 sessions to 45 participants, supporting improvements in physical health and mental wellbeing.
