Knowledge Fund Establishment, known as مؤسسة صندوق المعرفة, was founded in February 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The establishment aims to contribute to the creation of an educational and knowledge environment that supports the education sector in the Emirate of Dubai. With a focus on raising the quality of education in Dubai, the Knowledge Fund works towards implementing best practices and global standards.

It utilizes its investment portfolio to ensure the financial resources needed for funding and nurturing future educational initiatives and projects in Dubai. The Fund plays a significant role in supporting Dubai's education investment strategy to achieve substantial advancements in educational services. It follows international education standards and practices, aligned with the needs of the local community.

The establishment manages specialized educational properties in Dubai and actively participates in strategic planning for funded initiatives to ensure the provision of high-quality education for all segments of society. Additionally, it collaborates with both the public and private sectors to innovate solutions and overcome challenges in the education sector. With 19 nurseries, 35 schools, and over 31,000 student beneficiaries from its assets, the Knowledge Fund is committed to pioneering knowledge investment and developing a sustainable investment portfolio to support educational initiatives and projects in Dubai.
