KFCP

The Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania (KFCP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, supporting, and advocating for people and families affected by chronic kidney disease. Serving communities across 28 counties, it works to improve access to care and services for people at different stages of kidney disease, including those receiving dialysis or seeking a transplant. Guided by compassion, collaboration, integrity, stewardship, and community, KFCP aims to help create a future free from kidney disease.

KFCP provides kidney health education, information about treatment options, and resources for patients and caregivers. Its support services include patient and family mentoring, referrals, transportation assistance, and limited emergency financial aid on a case-by-case basis. The Foundation also offers educational programming on transplant options and advocates for patients by helping them share their experiences with policymakers. Community programs include Camp “Kydnie,” which gives children with kidney disease opportunities to connect with peers. Individuals can support KFCP by donating, volunteering, sponsoring its work, participating in fundraising events, or exploring gift matching and planned giving.
