Kfd

The Katholische Frauengemeinschaft Deutschlands (kfd) is a national Catholic women’s organization that represents women’s interests in politics, the Church and society. Its work is driven by the goal of making equality and equal rights a reality, and by a commitment to fair, non-violent and sustainable living conditions. Members are connected through Christian faith and spirituality, while the organization also encourages ecumenical learning and engagement with women of other religions.

The kfd promotes women’s participation in shaping the future of the Church, recognizes the diversity of women’s lives and life stages, and fosters solidarity across generations. Its activities include advocacy, projects and events, campaigns, news and public statements, as well as educational offerings to support personal development. The organization provides information on topics such as women’s rights, equality, faith, community, economic independence and violence prevention.

It also publishes the Junia magazine and the Die Mitarbeiterin resource, offers membership materials and maintains an online shop. Through its network and programs, the kfd offers women opportunities to learn, connect and take action
