KfV Kelheim

KfV Kelheim e.V. is a fishing association serving anglers and the wider community in the Kelheim area of Bavaria. Its activities span fishing, angler education, youth programs, and the care of local waterways. Members and visitors can find information about fishing opportunities along the Danube, Altmühl, Main-Danube Canal, and Abens, as well as at local lakes and ponds. The association provides guidance on permits and fishing cards, including online options and annual licenses, alongside rules, closed seasons, minimum sizes, and catch limits.

KfV Kelheim also offers fishing courses to prepare participants for the angling examination, with course schedules, learning videos, and information about fees. Its youth activities include camps, fishing meetups, and supervised opportunities for children. Beyond recreation, the association supports conservation through fish stocking, habitat restoration, riverbank planting, and educational initiatives such as “Fischer machen Schule.” It also shares practical information for fishing from boats and for people with disabilities, helping make local angling and environmental stewardship accessible to a broad community.
