KG Bad Breisig is a long-standing carnival society dedicated to preserving and celebrating the traditions of Rhenish Fastelovend in Bad Breisig. Founded in 1892, the association brings together around 374 members, including approximately 100 active participants, and is sustained by extensive volunteer involvement. Its community includes a diverse range of groups, such as the Herrenelferrat, Damenkomitee, Blau-Rote Funken, Möhnen, Spielmannszug, Skylight Majorettes, Dragoner, Kadetten and Minifunke.
Members of all ages take part in dancing, music, event organisation and other activities that keep local carnival traditions vibrant. The society offers a lively programme throughout the year, including traditional carnival sessions, parties, playback shows, winter walks, a fountain festival and the major Bad Breisig carnival parade, which returns in 2027.
