K. G. Rut-Wiess Löstige Langeler e.
V. is a community carnival association based in Porz-Langel, with roots dating to 1955. With more than 160 members, the organization brings residents together through local traditions, volunteer work and seasonal celebrations.
Its signature event is the Langeler Wiesenfest, held at the site residents know as the Wiesenfestplatz; the festival celebrated its 70th edition in 2026. The association also organizes carnival events, including formal sessions, children’s gatherings, a beer-garden session and participation in the Langeler Rose Monday parade. Its activities give children and families opportunities to take part, including local schoolchildren who are invited to march with their parents.
The club supports its events with volunteer coordination, parade and wagon-building work, and community collaboration. Visitors can explore photographs and videos from festivals, sessions and parades, as well as club publications, historical records and information about its members and leadership. The association welcomes support and membership, helping sustain its traditions and community events for the future
