KG Närrischer Laurentius

K.G. Närrischer Laurentius e.V. is a carnival society based in Ensen-Westhoven, Cologne, founded on September 24, 2003. It grew from a decade-long tradition of activities by the altar servers of St. Laurentius and local parish celebrations into a family-oriented organization firmly established in the Porz carnival community. The society brings together active and supporting members, a council, and its children’s dance group, Pänz von Laurentius. Its aim is to preserve carnival traditions while offering contemporary events and a welcoming home for people who share its red-and-blue spirit.

The organization hosts events during and outside the carnival season, including a costumed session and the Strüssjerball, and offers ticket requests through its website when places are available. Its annual activities also include the Blechovend, where the children’s group performs and members may be honored, alongside the presentation of the society’s session badge and booklet.
