About KGAP+
Keihanna Global Acceleration Program Plus (KGAP+) is a dynamic acceleration program that invites startups from across the globe to Japan for collaboration with leading Japanese organizations, fostering business growth and market access. Launched in 2019 by the Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) in Keihanna Science City, KGAP+ offers a comprehensive support system to help startups navigate the Japanese market efficiently.
Through mentorship, market exposure, and partnership opportunities with Japanese entities, KGAP+ equips startups with the tools they need to succeed in Japan. The program conducts pre-screening, selection events, and pitch opportunities to connect startups with industry professionals, enabling meaningful networking and collaborations. Additionally, an Oversea Special Program provides a global expansion platform, fostering cross-cultural exchange and international market access.
