Als älterster Verein Augsburgs üben wir den Schießsport nach den Regelwerken des Deutschen Schützenbundes (DSB) und des Bayerischen Sportschützenbundes (BSSB) aus. Bei uns trainieren Sportschützinnen und -schützen von jung bis alt. Unsere Mitglieder sind regional und überregional auf Meisterschaften und Wettkämpfen vertreten.

About Kgl. Priv. Schuetzenverein Augsburg
The Königlich Privilegierter Schützenverein Augsburg is a historic sports shooting club first documented in 1430 and described as Augsburg’s oldest association. It combines a longstanding tradition with modern sporting rules, conducting its activities according to the regulations of the German Shooting Sport Federation (DSB) and the Bavarian Sports Shooting Federation (BSSB). The club welcomes sports shooters of all ages, with members competing in regional and national championships and events.
Regular training takes place on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m. Facilities include 24 electronic ranges for air rifles and air pistols, as well as 10 ranges for firearms. A C-level coach is available to provide individual support, and the club also holds monthly clay target training. Newcomers without prior experience can arrange a trial session by contacting the club in advance. Its calendar includes events such as Easter egg shooting, the Gau Cup for firearms, the Martin shooting event, a traditional king’s competition, and an annual year-end celebration. The club is based on Stadionstraße in Augsburg.
